Le Touquet and Hardelot are popular choices for golfers based in the South East of England. Just 35 minutes via Eurotunnell from Folkestone and you are in France. Both Le Touquet and Hardelot are under an hour from Calais via a new Autoroute A16(Motorway) and each boast 2 first class championship standard courses.

The recent addition of Belle Dune Golf Club to the areas golfing portfolio provides another great course to sample and is just 30 minutes drive south of Le Touquet

For the less ambitious there is Wimereux Golf Club, located on the coast between Calais and Boulogne. Also the pleasant Nampont golf courses, complete with 15th century chateau.

Close to the Belgium border is the wonderful hidden course of Dunkerque where most of the holes have a water hazard attached.

Further inland there are two more wonderful courses. Aa St Omer is a test of stamina as well as golf. The Championship course at Arras has recently staged the LPGA French Ladies Championship and the addition of Hotel du Golf on site has made this a great alternative to golf at Le Touquet
