This golf course is set in the heart of Europe. Soufflenheim is situated within easy reach of Karlsruhe and Strasbourg, and next to Baden-Baden. You can get there fast from everywhere in Europe and you will be taken by the great landscape, culture, climate and gastronomy there.

There are 36 greens and 18 lakes in all, and peaceful woodlands within a lovely landscape and also making it the third most difficult course in France. Every fairway is a challenge to be experienced golfer but offers the beginner a fair chance, too, to make a good score. This superb golf course Soufflenheim will be soon counted as one of the most popular tournament places in Europe.

Short description about each hole situated in the golf course:-

Hole 1- 333m-Par 4
There is a series of sand bunkers on the right hand side of the fairway and on the left hand side of the fairway is a lake and three other small bunkers near the green.

Hole 2-321m-Par 4
This hole is quite awkward, because on the left hand side is a small lake, then mid way of the fairway on the right hand side is a bigger lake, further up close to the green on the left side is two small sand bunkers, large sand bunker next to it with another small one, then another small one just outside the fairway and but pretty close to the green.

Hole 3-528m-Par5
A lot more work is needed to complete this hole, because of its tricky layout and numerous lakes. The first lake is situated not far from the tee on your right hand side of the fairway, then mid way of the fairway on the left hand side is a small lake, further up the fairway on the right hand side is another lake opposite it on the left hand side is a small sand bunker, coming close to the green there is sand bunker sort of guarding it.

Hole 4-208m-Par3
This hole has to be the easiest shot to the green, because of its clear fairway, and few obstructions apart from, a big lake on the left hand side, further up the fairway and a sand bunker close by on the left next to the green.

Hole 5-477m-Par5
This hole is where all the fun and games begin, to start with the tricky shots and difficult putting. Starting from the tee, the first shot will come across a path because of the lake obstructing the fairway, then mid way of the fairway on the right is a sand bunker, then its clear from there until further up the fairway close to the green a huge lake on your right hand side, with three other sand bunkers guarding the green right round.

Hole 6-416m-Par4
This is another difficult shot from the tee because of its awkwardness, because of the path crossing the lake to the start of the fairway, because the lake is pretty big it goes mid way up the fairway, then on the left hand side is a small sand bunker, further up the fairway on the left is a another huge lake stretching all the way up to the green with a sand bunker touching next to the lake which is close to the green.

Hole7-168m-Par3
This hole may look simple, but in fact it is another difficult hole to conquer from in between the tee and start of the fairway because the is a path there and a lake on the right hand side, on the left hand side right through the whole fairway is a lake and two little lakes on the right hand side, and two sand bunkers guarding the green.

Hole8- 388m-Par4
This hole consists of a path at the start then with a lake on the right hand side of the fairway further up mid way there is two sand bunkers a little one and big one, then carrying further ahead is another series of sand bunkers situated on the right hand side, that carries on right till the green, but opposite the green is a small lake.

Hole9-342m-Par4
This tee shot is slightly at risk here because of the lake next to it on the right hand side, from the start of the fairway is a hedge on the right hand side all the way up the fairway is a sand bunker on the right, then a small lake on the left, going further up is numerous sand bunkers surrounding the green.

Hole10-343m-Par4
This golf course seems to be pretty challenging, due to fact that in between the fairway and the tee there is a lake across it, but there is a path on the right across the lake, further up the hole nearer to the green is a sand bunker in front of it and a slope up the green.

Hole11-191m-Par3
From the start there are numerous lakes going right along the fairway up till the green on the left hand side, with a big sand bunker on the right side close to the green with three other small bunkers around it and a lake situated behind the green.

Hole12-503m-Par5
Starting from the tee all the way up the fairway is clear, but on the left is a small lake, then a three lakes on the left and one on the right, coming more closer to the green there is a sand bunker on the right then a three other sand bunkers at the back next to a small lake.

Hole13-351m-Par4
This hole has a small lake on the right hand side, then a huge lake running along side the fairway and the left hand side, then closer to he green is another lake on the right side, behind the green there is trees.

Hole14-516m-Par5
Another difficult hole to solve, because there is a big lake on the left stretching right along the fairway, with seven sand bunkers spaced out along the right side of the fairway, closer to the green there is a small lake on the left and four small bunkers right around the green.

Hole15-337m-Par4
A pretty straight forward hole to score because a small lake near the tee area, then along the fairway on the right is some sand bunkers, on the left more sand bunkers and trees, nearer to the green is a bigger sand bunker on the right of the green.

Hole16-130m-Par3
From the start there is an elevated tee, which gives you a good view of the hole, but there is a big lake situated further up the fairway next to the green on the right hand side.

Hole17-405m-Par4
From the start there is an elevated tee and trees on the left hand side, further along the fairway on the right hand side is a huge lake, on the left side there is a small sand bunker next to trees, more nearer the green there is two smaller sand bunkers around it, one the left and one on the right.

Hole18-400-Par4
The final hole is one of the other most difficult holes to play in the course, because there is two lakes on either side of the fairway and three small sand bunkers on the left side, near the green there are another two small sand bunkers on each side and a small lake on the right side.
