The golf course designed by the leading French designer Jean Garialde, 15 years ago is now mature with 18 heavily bunkered holes with spectacular views, and is enjoyed by men and women golfers with a wide variety of experience, aptitude and ambition.

Lined with sweet-smelling pines and evergreen oaks, the well-maintained fairways are, on the whole, broad and forgiving, but some can be more challenging than they at first appear with doglegs requiring driving and accurate fairway shots to get the best from the more technically demanding greens.

The golf course is punctuated by lakes and the Canal de Carpentras, offers sensational views north and east over the forests and chalky foothills of the Vaucluse and south to the rugged horizon of Lubéron. Here and there sparkling fountains, their cool waters gushing from beneath the Provençal mountains, provide a refreshing pause in the heat of a summer round.

Additional facilities include a driving range, practice green and golf tuition. A 5-hole short course is due to open in 2006.
