Merignies Golf and Country Club18 holes Year built 2008 Michel Gayon, the course architect, has put his signature on the ondulating fairways, making Merignies the most hilly golf course in the very flat Lille region. Merignies golf club first started with a 9 hole course in 2008, which was designed like a links. A further holes were then added in 2012. A further 9 hole course will be completed in the early september 2013. In 2016 an additional 9 holes will be added, resulting in four 9 hole golf course at this golfing country club. Unique in the North of France, the four 9 hole courses will have departures and arrivals close to the Club House. This 4 leaf clover will allow you to make up the 18 hole course you prefer. The greens are some of the best in the area (3 meters roll). like the tees, they have a sand foundation, with proper irrigation and drainage, they are rolled and they receive meticulous maintenance, so you can play on green all year long. Tee times are available even on week ends, except some Sundays with competitions, but you can attend the competition if you want, or play in the afternoon.
