Les Chenes is a fully refurbished Basque style house, situated in the heart of the traditionally French village of Benesse Maremne. It is only five minutes by car from the spectacular beaches of Capbreton and Hossegor. The nearest golf course (Hossegor) is 5 minutes away (Seignosse is within 15 minutes) and there are many others within 45 minutes.

Les Chenes has five twin bedrooms all on the first floor, four of which can be made into doubles, and two of the rooms can be made into triples. All have en-suite showers, and a safe for you to place valuables in. There is a spacious living room which looks out onto the beautiful garden and terrace, with large comfortable sofas and chairs. The living room also has satellite television. The dining room has a magnificent old fire place and original wooden floors and the dining room table comfortably seats 12.

There is also a gym room, and the hosts are both trained Sports therapists and Sports masseurs. The large garden provides an excellent venue for relaxing and this is where the barbeque evenings are held. Les Chenes is easy to find, being within minutes of the motorway and getting to Bayonne, Biarritz and Bordeaux is quick and simple. There is parking at the house. The local beaches are considered some of the best in Europe and are kept immaculately clean and constantly groomed, providing excellent opportunities for all water sports, especially surfing.

Asides from the fabulous beaches there are also miles of beautiful pine forests, ideal for cycling, walking and nature watching. In the Aquitaine area there are 45 golf courses which can be booked as part as your tailor made holiday.

For guests staying with the half board or full board option, this price includes welcome drinks, breakfast, pre dinner drinks and nibbles, three course meal including locally produced quality wine and coffee, use of all cardiovascular equipment and use of T.V and satellite channels. Those not on the self drive option, will have transfers to and from the beach, golf courses and other nearby venues and will be picked up and dropped off at nearby airports for groups of 6 or more.
