Also referred to as “Erbisoeul” the course at Royal Hainaut provides 27 holes of challenging golf, set in a wonderful peaceful woodland setting.
Simpsons original 18, comprising two loops of two 9 hole loops called Les Bruyeres and Le Quesnoy, ranks alongside the best in Belgium. Nine extra holes, Les Etangs, were added in 1990, with these holes weaving their way through some spectacular areas of mature pines forest.
The three 9 holes loops are very different courses and each has a character
of their own.
Because of its sandy oil this course rarely has a drainage problem. Royal
Golf Club du Hainaut has undoubtedly one of the best courses in Belgium.
